Frequently asked questions

Getting started

Who is a good fit for Rekoup?

Small and mid-size businesses with recurring bills, especially those without a dedicated procurement team. Owner-led companies, multi-location businesses and lean finance teams benefit most.

What do you need from us to start?

Recent invoices for the categories you want reviewed, any vendor contracts you have, a signed letter of authorization so we can speak with vendors, and a point of contact.

Where do you work?

Across the United States. We are headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a regional office in Laurel, Maryland, and offices opening in 2027 in Raleigh, North Carolina; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Phoenix, Arizona. Because most of the work is done with bills and contracts, we serve businesses nationwide.

Fees

How are you paid?

On contingency only. Our fee is 50% of the verified savings for 24 months from when each saving starts, plus 50% of any refund or credit of past overcharges, once, when received. See Our fee.

What if you don't find savings?

Then you owe nothing. There is no minimum fee.

How are savings measured?

We compare your baseline bills before any changes with your actual bills afterward. You see every calculation before you are invoiced.

Vendors & process

Will we have to switch vendors?

No. Often the best outcome is a better deal with the vendor you already use. Any switch is entirely your decision.

Will this disrupt our vendor relationships?

We handle conversations professionally and only with your approval. Most vendors would rather adjust pricing than lose a customer.

How long does a review take?

It depends on the number of accounts and categories. After a first look at your documents, we will give you a timeline.

How much of our team's time does it take?

Very little. Beyond gathering documents and approving recommendations, we do the work.

Confidentiality & independence

Is our information kept confidential?

Yes. We sign a confidentiality agreement before you share anything and use your documents only to perform the review.

Do you take commissions from vendors?

No. We are independent and paid only by our clients.

Are you an insurance agency or energy broker?

No. We review costs and advise. Where a licensed broker or supplier is needed, we work alongside the one you choose.
